TRACK TEC HAS A NEW SOLUTION FOR PKP PLK

Track Tec KolTram, a company belonging to the Track Tec Group, – a forerunner of innovative solutions in the area of railway infrastructure, is going to prepare
a prototype of a double diamond railway crossing on pre-stressed concrete bearers – as a part of the pilot project of PKP PLK. Modern turnouts are to be a completely new quality in the field of railway infrastructure.

The Group is preparing a double diamond railway turnout on pre-stressed concrete bearers including a railway fastening set. Its purpose is to carry out test that will help to evaluate the proposed technical solutions. The pre-stressed concrete bearers for the prototype will be delivered by the Track Tec production plant in Suwałki.

The building station for the new turnout of Track Tec will be located in Świdnik – the projected completion date of the project implementation is October this year.

The new construction (turnout Rkpd60E1-190-1:9), which was developed by the best specialists at Track Tec KolTram, is going to be the first turnout to be installed on pre-stressed concrete bearers. So far they have been placed only on wooden bearers. Concrete bearers ensure longer life and better performance parameter of the turnout. The prototype will be characterized by the use of completely new solutions in the field of construction components.

„The ability to meet the most stringent requirements means that we are constantly expanding our group of clients. Our products have been successfully prepared for years in terms of the most modern investments in railway infrastructure in Poland and abroad. Years of experience and consistency in improvement of production result in more efficient and more comprehensive customer service. The Know-how of Track Tec will allow to prepare
a prototype of the highest quality, which – I hope – will be used in the future by PKP PLK during the modernization works and when making new investments – said Jarosław Pawluk, CEO of the Track Tec Group.

Both, the complete construction documentation as well as the construction and commissioning requirements for the turnout, that were agreed earlier with the National Office for National Roads of PLK, hve been fully prepared by the engineers of Track Tec KolTram.
