A MULTI-MILLION CONTRACT FOR TRACK TEC IN SAUDI ARABIA

The Track Tec Group, a leading European supplier and manufacturer of railway track components, will carry out the first delivery of turnouts to Saudi Arabia, for the construction of a 480 km connecting the King Khalid International Airport in the capital city of Riyadh and the village of Az Zabirah.

Winning a multi-million contract is another confirmation of the effectiveness of the foreign expansion strategy implemented by the Company. Track Tec will provide 54 railway turnouts, including 42 single turnouts, 10 crossovers and 2 junctions, as part of the Saudi Railway Company (SAR) project for the construction of a railway connection between the King Khalid International Airport and the village of Az Zabirah (CTW 400 project). The order will be delivered by Track Tec directly to the Dammam port in Saudi Arabia.

The CTW400 is a key undertaking that is a part of one of the longest rail projects in Saudi Arabia – the North South Railway, 1392 km in length. The CTW400 project is going to be executed by the consortium of Ayuni Investment and Contracting Co., Al. Omaier Trading and Contracting Co as well as China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation. The deliveries of railway turnouts will be carried out by Track Tec until the end of 2015.

„Winning another contract in such a distant and specific market confirms the quality of our products, comprehensiveness of services and ability to adjust the offer to the highest international standards and strict regulations. We are proud that in just a few years since the Track Tec brand has been established, we are able to respond to the needs of the most demanding customers around the world.” said Jarosław Pawluk, CEO of Track Tec S.A.

A dynamically implemented, long-term business development strategy with new sales markets assumes not only to increase the range of operations, but first of all to build an established position of a leader in the industry on an international scale. The Arab countries are an important direction of the Company’s international expansion. Confirmation of this is among others the fact that recently the Track Tec Group, as the first Polish company, took part in one of the world’s largest “Middle East Rail” railway fairs in Dubai.
