TRACK TEC AT EEC TRENDS 2023

Track Tec Group took part in EEC Trends, an event that serves as a prelude to the European Economic Congress. The discussion pointed out the most important trends, phenomena and processes that will determine the prospects of the Polish, European and global economy in the coming years. The conference was organized by the PTWP Group.

One of the speakers in the panel “Infrastructure and geopolitics” was Krzysztof Niemiec, vice president of Track Tec. Participants discussed new trade routes, changes in supply chains, nearshoring, as a consequence of geopolitics. They emphasized the role of modern transportation infrastructure in the process of attracting investment.

Modernization and expansion of rail infrastructure are investments in the future health of the Polish economy. The time is approaching when its competitiveness will depend on its ability to meet the requirements for using ecological transport of goods – said Krzysztof Niemiec, Vice President of the Board of Directors of Track Tec S.A.

One of the topics of discussion at the event was support for struggling Ukraine and the need for concrete aid. The war has had a significant impact on international logistics, so many manufacturers and distributors are looking to shorten supply chains. Moving production closer to sales locations can be a sustainable process, which in the opinion of Track Tec’s vice president creates an opportunity for Poland and other Central European countries.

However, the condition for locating new plants in our country is efficient, “green” logistics. Already today, the first foreign contractors, building their supply chains, require “climate certificates” from Polish producers – Krzysztof Niemiec informed.

EEC Trends is an event preceding the European Economic Congress, which this year will be held April 24-26.
