The Track Tec Group took golden patronage of the 11th Railway Congress – the largest business meeting dedicated to the railway industry in Poland. The event attracted more than 800 participants and 70 speakers, who discussed the future of railways for more than 12 hours.
This year’s Congress focused on the situation of the industry in the face of the next wave of pandemics, investment plans on the railways, hydrogen technology in the railways, energy efficiency issues or the challenges for freight and regional railways.
We are pleased that the Track Tec Group participates in events that integrate and develop the entire transport industry. We try to support such initiatives and that is why we support the Railway Congress for another year. We believe that conversations with experts allow us to gain a new, fresh perspective and the mutual exchange of experience makes our operations better and more accurate,” said Krzysztof Niemiec, Vice President of the Management Board of Track Tec S.A.
The programme of the Railway Congress included, among others, the debate ‘Railway infrastructure. Current situation, investment plans, challenges’, in which Marita Szustak, President of the Board and Commercial Director of Track Tec Construction, was one of the panellists. During the discussion with specialists from the transport industry, the topics of the impact of the pandemic on the implementation of infrastructure contracts, challenges related to the prices of construction materials and delays in EU programmes were raised.
The organisers of the Railway Congress are Zespół Doradców Gospodarczych TOR, Railway Business Forum and the monthly magazine Rynek Kolejowy, which broadcast the event on its website.
