TRACK TEC PARTNER EEC TRENDS 2022

Representatives of the Track Tec Group, a leading European manufacturer of materials for railway track construction, took part in EEC Trends. The event continues the tradition and brand of the Forum We Change Polish Industry – one of the most important debates on the perspectives and directions of the Polish economy development. Its organiser is PTWP Group, and Track Tec decided to become a partner of the event.

One of the issues discussed during the debate was the development of rail infrastructure in Poland. Speakers on the EEC Move panel, including Krzysztof Niemiec from the Track Tec Group, discussed key investments in the industry, as well as plans and ongoing projects. The main point of the discussion was the problem of providing access to the national railway network using the existing railway infrastructure.

– Meetings of the industry environment and joint debate on the condition of railway transport lead to its continuous development and improvement. Discussing the main problems, as well as ideas and plans emerging in the course of our work helps to clarify certain issues and re-evaluate priorities, which guide us in shaping the Polish railway infrastructure – said Krzysztof Niemiec, Vice President of the Management Board of Track Tec S.A.

Other key socio-economic trends for the near future were also discussed at the event – issues related to the Polish Arc, the green transformation of the economy, energy prices, as well as the new ESG business strategy framework. As in previous editions, innovation, the digitalisation of industry and e-commerce were also an important part of the debates.

The discussion at EEC Trends prepares the ground for the European Economic Congress, which this year will take place on 25-27 April. By working together on the Congress programme, its organisers emphasise the importance of its open nature.
