Track Tec Group’s team of engineering specialists is well-qualified in the design and implementation of new products, in particular sleepers and bearers. On request, we are able to provide logistical support for the delivery of our products to their destination.
Track Tec Group offers prestressed concrete sleepers that are permanently bonded on our production line with elastic sleeper pads, which are manufactured from many types of material to meet the requirements of the various rail infrastructure operators. The process with which elastic sleeper pads are bonded with the underside of sleepers is fully automated for optimally shortening the production and delivery time with such types of projects.
Track Tec Group offers prestressed concrete sleepers with the elastic rail fastening system type W14.
Our offer includes not only B70 sleepers, which are well-known in the European markets, but also the excellent Polish construction – track sleepers type PS 93/W14. Precisely this type has proved its worth on the network of the Polish rail infrastructure operator.
We have all the necessary certificates, which are the best proof that we have the relevant expertise for providing such solutions for railway lines.
These innovative sleepers are currently installed on three Polish railway lines.
The first prestressed concrete turnout bearers in Poland were designed and manufactured in Track Tec Group’s production plant in Suwałki. Today, prestressed concrete bearers are commonly used for the rail infrastructure but in our plants, we produce turnout bearers suitable for all radii – from R190 to R2500.
The delivery of turnout bearers, combined with a unique and comprehensive performance, which includes a choice of intermediate straight tracks, allows us to design and produce the special bearers individually for the Customer.
Prestressed concrete sleepers with mechanical end anchorage are manufactured in Track Tec Group’s production plants. The requisite tension sets use as end anchorage the pressure plates that are mounted on the ends of the prestressing steels, to which they are positively connected with a “head” fitted at the end of the prestressing steels.
The clinch heads are produced with a BBRV cold forming process. After tensioning and when the required early strength of the concrete has been achieved, the tension of the steels is introduced via the pressure plate as pure pressure into the sleeper. The sleepers delivered by Track Tec Group’s production plants are thus reliable and have a longer service life and in particular increased resistance to negative effects of dynamic stresses.
Innovative train for turnouts installation
Track Tec Group offers comprehensive logistics services for transporting pre-assembled turnout blocks and their installation on the building site. For this we use an innovative solution, i.e. our own train for turnout installation. The train consists of wagons equipped with special loading devices and with a crane and special wagons, e.g. ballast wagons. The works on the building site are carried out without dismantling of the overhead contact lines, which makes it possible to shorten the replacement time by more than half, to limit the track closure and to optimize the costs for our Clients.
Reforging – company’s own technology
Based on our own technology, we offer the tongue forging service and the rail profiles, which obtain as a result of the forging process conform to the European standards. In addition, we carry out complete machining of the forged area on modern CNC machines. All relevant parameters of the forging process are fully controlled by us in each of its phases. We also carry out refolding of rail profiles made of high-strength steels. By using the heat treatment process performed after the forging process, the hardness parameters of the riding surfaces remain unchanged.
